National Beneficiary Survey (NBS) Round Eight

In 2023, SSA fielded round eight of the NBS. The data collection was completed as of the end of calendar year 2023.

On February 20, 2025, just before the contractor and SSA could finalize the Round Eight data and documentation, the contract was cancelled by the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE). With the contract cancellation there is no way to finalize these materials for public consumption.
